Robot Vacuums Reviews
Robot vacuums have improved dramatically but manufacturer cleaning scores remain largely meaningless — measured on bare floors with controlled debris that bears no resemblance to pet hair on a medium-pile UK carpet. Our reviews compare published suction, navigation, and battery figures with customer feedback, and flag claims that no independent source supports.
Ratings reflect editorial confidence and evidence quality. Read our review methodology for full details.

How We Review
We have not physically tested these robot vacuums. Our reviews compare manufacturer specifications — suction, navigation system, battery runtime, and dock features — with customer review data, and note where a claim has no independent support. Models are graded Needs Verification until independent test data is available.
Full review methodology →Frequently Asked Questions
Can robot vacuums handle UK carpet?
Many can, but suction performance on medium and high-pile carpet varies significantly. We have not tested this ourselves. Where available, we note the stated suction figure and what customer reviews say about carpet performance, so you can see what is claimed and what is evidenced.
Are robot vacuums worth the money?
For regular maintenance cleaning they offer genuine convenience. They do not replace a deep clean with a full-size vacuum. Our reviews weigh each model's published specifications and customer feedback against its price.
